Press Quote of the Day

newspapertitles_r1_c1
"Morse Avenue and Howard Street might be considered by some as the right and left armpits of Rogers Park."
Marcella Tardy in News Star, January 5th, 2005, "And by the Way" page 3 column.

I just read Tardy's column, and what's interesting is the part of the column that Craig left out: the part about how DevCorp North is doing something to improve the neighborhood. Tardy says they are sponsoring a "public visioning forum" at 6:30 pm Thursday at Pottawattomie Park.

"Attendees will examine the economic, physical, and social fabric of those two commercial corridors. Organizers are hoping for the participation of a broad spectrum of residents who will help identify goals for those corridors."

But Craig wouldn't want you to know about that because I guess it wouldn't fit in with his "National Enquirer" format of this blog. I love it!

Yes Charlie, there is a meeting tonight, I have a photo poster on this site for the meeting. You have your own site to promote this meeting, DevCorp nor you allowed some of my information posted, so, fair is fair. I most likely will be at this meeting.

No it's because you ran the same tired ole, word for word, press release that is plastered though-out the neighborhood on every Vacant storefront,

You could have spiced it up a bit, remember, this is the National Enquirer.
