* CAPS Beat 2431 - Wanted Poster

Wanted
Today... I'm going to take a little advice from a Chicago Police Department Undercover Police officer who follows and mentioned the Morse Hell Hole at the CAPS meeting last night. She said, "Try to find some positive information to post once in awhile". One neighbor in attendance wanted to know what web-site the detective was talking about? The Alderman explained, "I'm sure someone here will tell you tonight!"

Also today, I'm going to take a piece of advice from Katy Hogan at the Heartland Cafe. She is very upset with this website. She said, " Cover something good in Rogers Park". Ok, ladies... I'll try, here goes.

Last night two dozen citizens who attended the CAPS Beat 2431 meeting were treated to Valentine cookies and the Chicago Police Department, undercover video surveillance tapes for Operation End of the Line!

Here is a copy of the poster the Chicago Police Department passed out, a poster of those arrested in the 3 month undercover operation. Two are still at-large. If you see these Open Air Drug Market Salesmen, call 911, do not try to apprehend them yourself.

The highlight of the evening was watching the undercover video transactions, which included a "AirPort Express Van" driving up to curb side service for his passengers. A turf fight in front of Dollar Day.

Also we were told, Morse Avenue and Glenwood is going to get the Chicago Police Department Outdoor Camera installed this week.

More highlights included Alderman Moore's speech about these Hell Hole-Hot Button subjects: The Alderman reads the web-site and isn't happy about it.

If you see this business open , they shouldn't be.

Alderman Moore says Bill Norkett really is working? Yet never mentioned if the tail light got fixed.

People need to pick up this.

Alderman Moore is going to personally talk to these guys and these guys. He promised to go into EVERY business that received a violation.

Sorry ladies, that's where the good news ends. And, this is ONLY Good News if... Alderman Moore keeps his promises.

Now the bad news.

Our beat facilitator Kevin O'Neil didn't follow up on the January Soo Liquors question, a question he promised to look into regarding a few liquor complaint forms, forms the CAPS 2431 group started in 2003. Trying to keep it positive I won't go into the details, hoping Kevin will follow up this month? Kevin reads this site too and he isn't happy about the Hell Hole.

The most disturbing issue is Alderman Moore's, Government Funded, Public Relations Department.

Alderman Moore has enlisted the Rogers Park Community Council's very own Cary Steinbuck to photograph Alderman Moore while he took kudo's from his half dozen, loyal worshippers on this and this. These photos should appear in the next special edition issue of RP2000 titled, Alderman Moore-Renaissance Man. Some things never change!

To the lady who didn't get the web-site address. I have television commercials promoting the website address starting this month. The posters get taken down too quickly.

Troubled Times.

I take a great deal of public heat.

As Joe praises himself for these missions in public, behind the scenes, Joe goes on the other side of the field, he goes into the businesses and blames me for their getting hassled and ticketed.

Instead of helping a whistleblower, he blows the whistle and passes the buck.

It's no wonder more people don't speak up.

It's rare I get a compliment, when they come, I cherish them. Thanks for reading!
