Who needs to rules when DevCorp North and Alderman Moore like you?
Look at these seriously overflowing dumpsters of food waste! Look at the five gallon empty bucket, tipped over, leaking some strange juicy liquid. My neighbors and I see this at least once a week in this alley. This isn't anything new at The Heartland Cafe. I've featured this problem and this business before. The owners don't like being on my site and have told me so directly. But what can I do?
Look at this Hell Hole Alley.
Would you want to look at this Rodent feeding ground as you try to enjoy the neighborhood? Would you like to have this nasty smell go up your nose every time you walk by this unsightly eyesore? Would you do this at your home and get away with this?
Special Service Area #24 Commissioner Katy Hogan and DevCorp North Board of director Michael James owners of The Heartland Cafe are not respecting the community. Katy is in charge of the beautification of Rogers Park using taxpayer money with SSA #24. But they can't keep their business on the up and up.
These two owners have repeatedly been touted over the years by Alderman Moore and DevCorp North as community leaders of Rogers Park. They are given special treatment. The Alderman re-zones their property to fit the Heartland Cafe owners needs, with-out giving the community due process. DevCorp North puts Commissioner Katy Hogan in front of the community in public meetings, pushing the DevCorp North agenda.
Why do some businesses like the Heartland Cafe get treated special? One hand washes the other while the Broken Heart of Rogers Park remains a stinky, ugly mess. Some businesses are just above the law I guess?

Let's see..............Very hot weekend with no rain despite the forcast. Maybe just maybe they did a bang up business and created the excess garbage.
Oh no I know they intetionally called and refused a pick-up so as to be an eyesore?
