* Let's Have a Look at that Tape-Part 2

Exclusive First Look, Two Neighbors Report
1345 W. Morse Bust

(AUG. 23, 2005) Approx time: 12:00 p.m. I saw roughly 6 people loitering in front of the building.  Two were the older black couple who consistently cause problems on Morse, one black man on a bike, one  black female and one white female sitting behind the gate. They were drinking.  As i passed by, I noticed a man standing on the curb watching them very intently...I am reasonably sure this was not Mr. Block, however I had a gut feeling that this man may have already called the police.  The group was obviously not going anywhere in the near future, so I decided to attend to my client and check back in 30 minutes to see if anything had been called in.  Thirty minutes later found 2 unmarked police cars and several of the loiterers in handcuffs...the body against the squad car was the one white woman being handcuffed.  Make sure you request the tapes from today as well.  We may have the second narcotics arrest.

Another incident today (8/23/2005) at 12:30 - three squad cars involved in the arrest of a woman directly under the Morse camera. Interestingly enough, there were contractors at the scene at exactly the same time, taking measurements of the fence area, I assume in preparation for constructing a higher fence. James is working on getting the other recording, so we'll see what the quality of recording is.
