* Special Service Area # 24 Scandal - The Horny Janitors

Unlike the DevCorp North blog site, I rarely can get photos of these guys actually working.

The positions I photograph them in, are ones where they are lazing around, doing nothing. Or in this case, doing nothing while checking out the girls.

Here seconds before this photo, we just had a female walk by, the janitors had to catch a look, They had to catch a glance.

Notice the snow shovels sitting nicely, un-used, in the garbage can.

Notice these shovels aren't in the workers hands, actually doing something like shoveling.

Notice they are standing in the street, where it is dry and snow-free.

If you just believed the DevCorp North blog site, there would be five janitors on every corner, shoveling and salting until the sun goes down.

Here we have the two lazy, do-nothing janitors catching one last look at the female down the street. Both had to really rubber-neck to get this one last glance.

Notice that they still aren't working and the shovels still haven't moved out of the garbage can.

If you just believed the DevCorp North blog site, there would be five janitors on every corner, shoveling and salting until the sun goes down.

I've seen the same thing. I do see them pick up garbage too, but they totally troll on the job- no question about it.

Anyone recall the sun-times column by Dawn Price a few years back about the young girls that are harrassed trying to walk down Morse Avenue? I've seen these guys and others oggling 16 year olds blatantly. It's pretty sick.

JTFM- There are good things going on, but there also still some bad things on Morse and there's nothing wrong with discussing them. Are you saying we should just pretend these things don't exist? Talk about a white elephant.

Nothing that I've seen Craig post on this blog describing what goes on Morse is untrue. I may not agree with his interpretation of the events, but the events themselves are true. Steph-guy(for example) has mis-represented the neighborhood in his posts but he doesn't live here anymore anyway.

Another way of looking at this blog for an outsider might be that it shows that many people who live here are involved and care about this community. Rather than JTFM's interpretation that we are giving our neighborhood bad press. Not everything has to be interpreted so literally JTFM and Steph.

Dear Skafiend, You may be correct that in itself this one incident doean't mean much, but long time readers of this blog know that this post is another in a long stream of documentation of the DevCorp workers goofing off on the job.

Actually though, and at the risk of sounding like a real tight ass, I have to backtrack a bit and say that even if they had been shoveling actively, slobbering after the ladies when you are on the job is not really appropriate behavior...
