I invited our local media to attend the circle prayer tonight.
Channel 2 reported on the vigil (with webcast video), as did Angela Caputo from the News Star. We'll see how she covers this event next week.
All other media outlets must have felt Rogers Park always has crime like this, it is no big deal, why bother?

Your insight is not incorrect per se, Gemma, but I think it is realistic to understand that there are those who also will need the help of people of goodwill. I think that is what Tom is suggesting, if I may be so bold.
After all, what is the extent to which we expect the abused and neglected six year old to do the sort of self-examination you describe...
