WHO: Any registered voter may vote early. Bring a government-issued picture ID to the polling place. Unlike absentee voting, you do not need a reason to vote early.
WHAT:Early voting allows citizens to cast their votes before Election Day.
WHEN: You can participate in early voting until Thursday, March 16th from 9am to 5pm on weekdays and from 9 to noon on Saturdays, Sundays.
WHERE: The 49th Ward has a early voting station at Warren Park - 6601 North Western Avenue.

Question:
I am considering early voting. I have been following the press coverage of the Claypool campaign's concerns regarding early voting. At this point, is the campaign recommending that supporters NOT early vote? What is your position here?
Answer:
We're strongly supporting early voting as a great alternative if for any reason you may not be able to vote March 21 - in this election every vote will count, and we don't want to miss yours.
Question:
What about early voting, as a conveneince, not about not missing a vote? At this point do you guys have sufficient concerns about the fairness of early voting that you would say that other things being equal a Clypool supporter would be better off voting on election day when judges are present?
Answer:
We do have significant concerns about many of the early voting locations, but not that your vote won't be counted properly. A vote today is just as valuable as a vote March 21.

I voted at the Downtown site on March 6. The touch machines are quite secure. It was even easy to write-in candidates' names (I wrote in my mom's name instead of voting for that political parasite Jan Schakowsky for Congress, for example).
The reason why I voted early was that it will enable me to go wherever I have to on Election Day on behalf of my good friend, FRANK AVILA, who is running for Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Commissioner (PUNCH 51).
