The last photo most of us have seen of President Stroger was him being hauled to Rush Medical Center on a stretcher with a white sheet covering his body. With all the gloom and doom I felt the need to share a happier time, oh not so long ago.
My photographer dug up a photograph of Cook County President John Stroger and myself smiling at the Equality Dinner last January '06. By the way, I'm way taller than Mr. Stroger, I had to kneel down so my big head would fit in the frame.
All kidding aside, The 'Broken Heart" prays for a full recovery.
