* So Long Soo?
According to a witness who doesn't want to be identified due to fear of retaliation, on Saturday night around 6:30pm, Soo liquor owner was hauled off in handcuffs and the business was closed. I went by on Tuesday evening during his happy hour and found the gates to his business locked. It would be a great service to Morse Avenue and CAPS beat 2431 if Soo Liquors never opened again. The owner of Soo Liquors doesn't care about the community.
The owner of Soo Liquors harbored the Open Air Drug Market salesman when the police drive by. The owner of Soo Liquors let the Open Air Drug Market salesman use the front of his business as a hang-out. Worst of all, the owner of Soo Liquors has contributed to Alderman Moore's campaign with the dirty money he makes selling blunts and booze to the Open Air Drug Market salesman. The owner of Soo liquors must have thought that was his get out of jail free card?
Like I said, it would be great if Soo Liquors never opened again. If anyone has anymore juicy details, please fill us in.

Perhaps the owner, once he realizes that his relationship with Alderman Moore won't be enough to protect his butt, might turn around and start singing like a canary to the prosecutors. Wouldn't that be interesting?
By the way, on another subject, you might want to check out the featured Letter to the Editor in today's (Wednesday) edition of the Chicago Sun-Times (as it deals with balloting problems).
Soo Liquors fell behind on their payments. Can't have that, not in an election year. Moore made an example of him, hauling him off in cuffs in broad daylight in the middle of Morse Ave.
