* Sidewalk Full of Blood
What a way to return to Chicago. I got a phone call informing me there was someone who got the crap beat out of them enough to bleed all over the sidewalk at Lunt Avenue and Glenwood. I was told how easy it would be to spot. Right in front of the eidolon art studio @ 7001 N. Glenwood. From the callers description of the blood stains on the sidewalk, it had nothing to do with performance art and everything to do with a good ole fashioned sidewalk smackdown beating.
So, I'm not quite in the swing of things, I'm a little bruised, cut, battered and sore myself. I'm going to hope a reader who knows more, will tell us more. What happened last evening in front of the eidolon art studio @ 7001 N. Glenwood? Who got beat up? Why did the person get beat up? And, was anyone arrested for beating up the person who bled on the sidewalk?

Ok Thomas- do tell- inquiring minds...
This is very distressing to say the least. I'm glad we at least planned a walk for Next Friday, June 2nd starting at the Block building!
Jeff O wants to wait for gentrification. I don't feel we should sit passively and wait- that spells apathy to me. What little I can do, I plan to.
Jeff-O writes
"because this photo alone is boring, you get the point, but with no context, its lame.."
What on earth do you want CSI Rogers Park?
Or will some innocent site visitor think that the local blood bank was being sloppy with the samples?
The photo of the blood on the pavement speakings loudly, especially to those of us who have been crime victims.
CAPs citizens walk
June 2nd Friday 7pm in front of the Block building. There may even be a police roll call to start the march season with some flourish!
The plan is to try scheduling these walks the first Friday night of every month.
This can put a damper on trouble over the weekends is the theory. We just want to do something to make a statement that the neighborhood does not want bad behavior and we care about what goes on here.
Can I just say I am so tired of the hoodlums acting like they own Morse Avenue? Thanks
