* Neighbor Reports Crime

I received a e-mail from one of my loyal readers who asked I print this Morse Avenue Hell Hole sighting. With all the "crime is decreasing" conversation going on, this would be a perfect time to share with all of you. Remember, crime is decreasing.

Thursday, 8:30 a.m. "I was on my way to work and saw 3 youths doing their open air business on the NE corner of Morse and Greenview. I circled and tried to get a picture but feared being shot. So I traveled east on Morse where a marked car with a grey haired cop was parked in front of J.B./Alberto's Pizza. He was facing west. I pointed out what was going on but he clearly ignored me. It was squad car #7295. I called 911 and reported it but I doubt anything was done."

Needed 500 copies of “who moved the cheese”.
Yes gentrification is spreading like a canker sore along the mouth of RP.
What to do with the pimps that run the HO’s?
Could they become Lobbyist for the tobacco industry?
Certainly pimping and lobbing have lots in common.
What to do with the fleet of BMX bandits that plague this beat?
Bike messengers, apparently they are experienced with picking up a package and delivering it to another location.
What we are talking about is destroying their places of business and their livelihood.
If we do not find a way to retrain these Gber types then expect big problems.

representer says this is the hood and you cant change it(condensed version). so i reply that change is coming.

paradise wants this neighborhood to be perfect, and considers all the people to be filth(condensed version). so i tell her it cant be perfect and that they arent all bad people and she is prejudice.

you are taking excerpts from two arguments. the change will come, but it will never be perfect around here. i have disdain for the criminal element, as well as the disrespectful people who through trash everywhere and cant keep their voices/radios down late at night.

the fact is representer doesnt want change, which ir ridiculous. paradise thinks everyone in the neighborhood is filth which clearly isnt true. she can leave while others help change the place for the better.

and one other thing julie.

go f*ck yourself. you are another know it all like paradise.

ok paradise,

you want edison park, sure it can be done.

but guess what, the criminals have to go somewhere. they go to jail and then get out. the jails are overcorwded, and jail does not prevent them from commiting crimes after they are released. and more criminals are born everyday.

next you want to get rid of slumlords. well they are going to always exist based on economics. unless the government really checks up on them and forces them to provide better housing. but sometimes the problem is the tenants who are poor and do not care for their rental unit. it makes it difficult to maintain the units when they are subject to greater damage and cleaning than your average renter. why would you want to provide low income housing in that case?

so those people are out of rogers park, but guess what, they will go somewhere. and you say you care about the city, but all you are doing is transferring the problem to another neighborhood. very neighborly of you, isn't it?

you are talking about social and economic problems that will always exist. the neighborhood will get better, but it will take time. quit whining and acting like you know it all.

if you want edison park or another nice neighborhood, then move there. i know you wont because you choose to live here and probably cant afford those other places. deal with the facts and since you love YOUR neighborhood so much, then stick it out.

i love it. let fools like paradise talk and they will look more and more foolish.

no one wants the people you mention in their neighborhood. where did i say that. just distorting the truth the same way you did with the gang statistics to make your point.

and as far as the empty space, those neighborhoods are far worse than here. are you saying you want to create a only poor criminal infested area. again, what a good neighbor.

70k gang members??? try 250k.

think of the homicide rate then if they all were murderers.

Isaac Marshall said...

you said 70k in chicagoland. chicagoland depending on who you ask extends almost to wisconsin and includes a population of about 8 million.

also, 250k is one tenth of the citys population.

but my 250k might be LA and i admit may be a mistake from all the numbers you hear from different reports.

at least i can admit a mistake. but thanks for your assumption that i count gang members by their white t-shirts and blue jeans you cunt.

by the way, the gang member s do wear white t-shirts on purpose.
