I'll just repeat what I have said about Joe Moore in the past... Joe NEVER tells the truth when a lie will serve him better.

The day will come though whan Moore must account for his sins and misdeeds to a Higher Authority.

This is so rich one hardly knows where to begin. A white, middle class, middle aged guy taking arms against African American politicos representing constituencies in more need of jobs than Joe's ward and invoking the name of a great black leader? Would this be considered ironic?

Aside from the fact that it's knuckleheaded. Increased labor prices leads to increases in the price of goods. So that "minimum wage" will simply be taken back by Walmart in the form of higher price products. Someone please send Joe down to Hyde Park for Econ 101 please since, apparently, they didn't do economics at Knox or DePaul.

And since I'm making catty comments, I love this I'mtoosexyformyshirt nipple pic of Joe: http://illinoisdemnet.com/node/1979

Knowing Wal-Mart's history they'd probably decrease the employee discounts or increase the cost for health benefits to eat back the "raise". Personally i'm no fan of Wal-mart.

As for the catty part, i don't know what is crueler. That song now stuck in my head or the vision of pointy-nippled, he-boobies.
I had to look, didn't i.
