* Raising Some Money

From January 1st to June 30th the Citizens for Joe Moore had 163 itemized Individual contributions totaling $112,950.00.

His available funds at the close of the reporting period are, (6-1-06) $156,845.48.

While I'm here giving you quality information at a click of the button, for the other guys, they are going to spend more time collecting $49 dollars each and not enough time campaigning on issues.

Any comments on who's giving Alderman Moore what? Like Dan Sullivan playing both sides of the fence.

Let's not forget another PAC controlled by Moore, the Democratic Party of the 49th Ward!

2 grand from Citizens for David Orr in 2 convenenient inconspicuous installments of a grand each, within in 2 weeks:

$1,000.00 2/6/2006
$1,000.00 2/18/2006

And a quick grand from 8th Ward Regular Democratic Organization, 3/20/2006

Todd "Urkel" Stroger, Alderman

Not too important but, I noticed that a $1,000 contribution was made by Mirro Construction. I believe that that is the company where the Mirro brothers work/own. The brothers who caught the escaped rapist at Pratt and Hamilton on May 10th, a story that Craig covered so well…

My favorite expense:

helium for evernt

I think they inhaled it.

I also like all the food expenditures, particularly Dunkin Donuts. No wonder Joe has man boobs.

And it looks like Joe's slush fund also provided the buds for Craig's dad's funeral. Geez. Expensing funeral flowers? Kinda tacky if you ask me.

Rogersparker-

Do you know these guys are stoners, or do you like throwing around accusations?

And just to be clear, I have no idea who these Mirro guys are. Never met them, or seen what kindo of work they do. It just seems wrong to slur someone's name if it isn't true. Just my opinion.

>at least he is spending alot of the money in the community

From a citizen's point of view, where a candidate COLLECTS money is much more important than where he spends it.

Illinois State Board of Elections Campaign Disclosure

Start your exploration of this rich data with the contributions, not the expenditures.

Remember: there are only 2 zip codes in Rogers Park, 60626 and 60645. In fact, the 49th ward is only PART of '26 and '45, these 2 zip codes extend into the 50th and 48th wards as well. Anyway, scan the contributions noting the zip codes. By far most of Moore's support is from outside the ward.

SEIU, two sep. $1,000 contributions.

Oh, I'm getting the word out on Moore nationally, which should please him, since he craves national attention:

Or maybe it won't.
