Perhaps Moore felt he needs the time instead to prepare some lackey of his for Moore's customary blanket challenge of the petitions of any and all candidates who dare to file in December run against him for Alderman.

1. Why did Mark Foley put in so much overtime?
Because he was getting a little behind in his work.

2. Does Foley use bookmarks?
No, he just bends over the pages.

3. Why is Mark Foley like Schlitz beer?
They both come in little white cans.

Cowardly? Maybe he displayed some brains for one. All be it that it's more important for him to stay in office than to actually see this issue through.
