Jessie is the butcher from Rogers Park Fruit Market (Clark and Jarvis/Rogers) He left there to open his own restaurant. After months of preparing, it opened about two weeks ago. Many people know Jessie from the market. He worked there forever and at another Rogers Park butcher shop before that. I could call him up and order a porterhouse and he'd cut it perfectly. I never bought steaks from Jewel or Dominicks. I went to this new restaurant last night (Western & Lunt) and it was great. It is nicely decorated, reasonable, and B.Y.O.B. The guacamole was excellent. It is a small place but many people were there. I really hope he succeeds. You should check it out.
