Friday morning Alderman Moore (49th ward) was caught red-handed violating Illinois Election guidelines by standing inside a early polling place and shaking hands. All the while he was introducing himself to voters by name, voters who stood in line waiting to vote at the Clark Manor Senior Home, located at 7433 North Clark Street.
A States Attorney came over and asked Alderman Moore to surrender his poll watching credentials and Alderman Moore refused, according to a independent poll-watcher on the scene at the time. Then according to the poll-watcher, the States Attorney told Alderman Moore to leave the premises. Then the States Attorney called the other senior home - warning them of the 49th ward Alderman's improper way of campaigning, said the poll-watcher.

Is this a serious enough violation to disqualify him?
What would it take to do that?
Another good reason why every precinct in Rogers Park needs a poll watcher. This has been going on for years.
The feds are very aware of joe moore , it is not a matter of if joe goes down, just when.
Win or lose joe is in the crosshairs of the federal authorities
The fed are very aware of joe moore and what is going on in the 49th ward.
Win or lose it is not a matter of if joe will go down, but when joe does down.
So when will the State's Attorney file a complaint or charges against JoMo? What are they waiting for? Can we all spell 'blatant'? Wonder if JoMo will plead ignorance if this is tossed back at him?
Hey ryne you got a fly on the wall inside Fitzgeralds crew? You'll remember before the Libby indictment there was much speculation and very little leaking. But I guess you are connected and know whats to come, do tell.
This doesn't surpise me at all. The very first time I met Joe Moore he was doing something similar in front of Loyola Field House (my polling place). And I've told his campaign staffers (who have been inccessantly calling me for the past 2 weeks, despite me telling them not to call back) that this is one reason that I can never support Joe Moore.
