Hey Craig, Where can we find the results broken down by precinct?

Study this chart people. If you live in a precinct that went Moore, you need to help out Gordon if you want to stop the gangs, guns and drugs Alderman Moore has allowed to over-run this ward in the last 16 years. If lawlessness is your style, vote Alderman Moore.

Calling precinct 17. Only 17 voters. Where is everyone?

In 2003 and 2007 Alderman Moore mustered around 3700 voters. I believe that's the best he can do.

I'm in the 34th. Almost 50% (of those that voted) went for Moore. We've got some work to do North of Howard.

Now you know what to do when talking with your neighbors. Inform them. Alderman Moore's is painting Don Gordon as a republican, which he isn't.

Neighbors that vote that reason need to be informed the truth. Have a neighborhood coffee, Invite them to meet Don. It's that simple.

Thanks for asking to post the chart.

You can also go to the board of election site to election results, choose the 49th ward, it will display a one line chart, you can click on the 49th ward and it will expand it to all of the precincts.

There is also a downloadable ward precinct map on Don's web site if you are interested. It's interesting to compare the numbers and the map.

and before you get your knickers in a twist about name-calling and cowards blah blah blah, refer back to your very own words in which you refered to Moore/Ginderske as "trash"

It must cut you to your soul to know that jim despite not winning, will be a greater asset to this community going forward than you can ever dream of being.

You will always be a porn-peddler. Enjoy your gizz stained money and overblown ego.

Can we please rise above this? For those who voted against Moore for Jim or Chris need to decide if today they are still against Moore's return.

The blogs aren't the be all and end all of an election. Let's keep to the facts and the 16 year record.

Think about the objective - is it four more years or NO MOORE Years? It's very simple.

Thank you for providing the chart, Craig. It reminds me of a time when I was growing up over in West Rogers Park some 40 years ago (it gives me chills just to have to say just how long it has been). Back then, we knew we could scan the precinct-by-precinct vote totals in the 48th, 49th and 50th Wards for all the major races that took place on Election Day in following day's Lerner newspaper.

Progress in journalism is really great, isn't it? I haven't bother to look at the News-Star yet, but why should I? That rag probably doesn't even have any news on the previous day's election.

Hi chianim8r,

I'm got a post in the can "Joe Moore, All Hat No Cattle" that I have been holding off on because I have an idea for a graphic: a Brokeback Joe thing, either take Joe Moore's smiley head shot from his web site banner and slap a big ole 10-galloner on him or take a still from Brokeback Mtn from imdb.com and paste Joe's face in. Nothing too fancy. Crude is fine. This would take me hours but I suspect you could do it minutes. Would you be interested in collaborating?

Thanks,
Hugh
