* 49th Ward Election Power Rankings

- Exclusive - The 'Broken Heart' - 49th Ward Election Power Rankings -
(February 10, 2007)

1.) Joe Moore - Tired old 'full of crap' message, but still loaded with $200 thousand dollars in 'out of ward' funded - campaign contributions to spend.

2.) Chris Adams - Two informative glossy mailers. The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce endorsement, plus a solid showing at the last forum, put's the Adams campaign in good shape.

3.) Don Gordon - Dan Sullivan endorsement for Gordon doesn't offset the public verbal barb Gordon gave me it the second debate. Gordon drops a notch this week.

4.) Jim Ginderske - Losing supporters. No endorsements. No mailers. No message. No money. No hope.

So you're downing Gordon a notch because he wasn't nice to you?

To have $200K in the bank for running for alderman and unless it is already a wealthy ward is almost kind of sad.

I went to parties at Don Gordon's house and I didn't see anything that I thought was strange.

levois - many alderman have more than that in there fund. it is the nature of politics today. look at gene schulter in licoln square with 550,000. how is that compared to 200,000. the fact that the gordon guy and ginderske and whoever adams is have no money indicates that they have little support. moore may benefit from incubency, but what about the rest of them having most of there money come from their own pockets?
