* Special Sevice Area #19 Manager Has Had Enough

First it was Kevin Richards, now DevCorp North loses another one. Amy Campell disapproved of the North Of Howard area being a dumping ground of nonprofits and subsidized housing, so she moves on.

Maybe they'll all quit and the people in this ward will have the good sense to vote in a new alderman. Only then will we get a chance of a real chamber of commerce, like every other community in the ciy. Why is Rogers Park so back-ass? Supposed bleeding heart liberals who are really crooked and lining their pockets with poor people's money. Affordable housing, affordable housing, affordable housing. I'm ready to vomit. Their is plenty of affordable housing in Rogers Park. What are they trying to preserve? I think it's called subsidized housing. That's where they get their payoffs!!!

Good comment, dan. I couldn't dispute a word of it.

Go read Toni's post at 24/7 Howardwatchers and thank Amy Campbell for standing up to Sen Carol Ronen, who wanted to stick the NOH neighborhood with a re-entry facility for ex-offenders. Amy wouldn't let it happen, which is probably why she is unhappy with DevCorp and is ready to move on.
