SO depressing.

What happened to integrity?

Obviously it can be bought and sold.

:(

You can't sell something if you don't have "it" to begin with.

Jim,

Publicly funded clinics are all supposed to be awarded based on assessed need. The fact that your application was filed for federal funding rather than county funds as you originally planned doesn't make it more likely to happen. It only means you succeeded in filing your application. Congratulations on that.

I hope that if that project ever sees the light of day, it will be passed to properly qualified health care professionals to administrate. Having been a member of IBEW, a day trader and a member of ZLUAC is not adequate preparation to run a federally funded health clinic, regardless of whatever assurances Mr. Fagus may have given you to the contrary.

Do you mean that Ginderske's proposed health care clinic is supposed to be run by Ginderske himself?

That's laughable.

Is Jim a health care professional? If not, it's laughable to think that we will get a federally-funded health care clinic just because he "applied" for one. We can't even provide adequate healthcare to soldiers injured in combat.

Moore's people all fly on stated "good intentions" and delusional thinking.

Heartland Health Alliance submitted the application for the Federally Qualified Health Clinic (FQHC) in Rogers Park with the help of many community partners
listed in the community needs assessment.

Primary partners, Loyola University Neihoff School of Nursing, Center for Urban Research, Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin, Howard Area Community Center and Neighbors for a Healthy Rogers Park (NHRP) worked together for almost a year to produce the required community health needs assessment.

NHRP is a group of community residents working on various health projects. James Ginderske facilitates the meetings.

I am not aware of a Cook County Health Center application process.

You guys are now attacking Ginderske, it would seem like you only want Moore to lose you don't really care if the ward is improved. You're even sniping at JG and his clinic push, sad reaction to see.

Jim pulled a "Sullivan"

Jim and Joe DO have a lot in common

Joe thinks putting up billboards for a fire station is "getting it done"

Jim thinks filing an application is the same as single-handedly building a health clinic

By the time Creamer and his pals are done airbrushing Jim's resume, we will be naming the health clinic after him.

Rebecca - Are you saying that Jim Ginderske is somehow going to be tapped to run a neighborhood health clinic through some sort of assurance from David Fagus?

Can you elaborate on this? I know nothing about it. If you have information on this, please do tell.

BTW, Rogers Park has been designated a medically underserved area. An asssessed need has already been established.

Heartland Health Outreach manages another FQHC in Uptown. They submitted the application for the FQHC in Rogers Park and will manage the clinic here if the application is approved by the feds.

The Rogers Park community has been designated:

1. An underserved area/community
2. An underserved population
3. A physician shortage area

These designations were assessed by the federal goverment.

Thanks for the information Monica. It's nice to have facts counter rumors Rebecca or anyone else wants to spread about a community project for a health care clinic.

Rebecca - if you and others are angery over Jim's decision to work on Moore's zoning committee that's fine. Stick to that issue.

Don't spread rumors about a health care initiative that you know NOTHING about.

Funny how some of you would tear down a project that would do a great deal of good for the community rather just to get at someone they don't like. Yeah, you guys really have the best interests of the neighborhood at heart.

Full disclosure, I worked on the health care initiatve as part of Northside POWER. I don't remember seeing you at any meetings or working towards getting the clinic established here.

Again, if you have inside information about some sort of deal between Jim and Fagus, etc. Please, do tell.

Tom's getting death threats from Gordon supporters and you and others want to spread rumors simply to get someone other than Joe Moore elected alderman?

I'm getting extremely tired of my neighbors tearing people down to get at two or three people involved in a race for Alderman. Grow the !@#$ up.

So I'm calling you out Rebecca. If you have information about this, state it here and now.

Otherwise, stop spreading rumors or implying Jim is corrupt. It's rude and inconsiderate. I've met you before and I was under the impression that you were raised better than that.

Health Clinic - Getting It Done - Jim Ginderske

Have you selected a name for your new clinic?

Has the

James Ginderske for Alderman 2007 Memorial Health Clinic

been ruled out?

Will the clinic be Ginderske's fire station, or his field house?

Will we have to listen to "health clinic coming soon" for the rest of Ginderske's public career?
