A 'Broken Heart' of Rogers Park Exclusive
Monday night, around 8:30 p.m., three white teens were walking innocently through Pottawattomie Park at 7340 North Rogers. They were on their way to the CTA Howard EL stop. That's when everything went bad. That's when they were attacked by three older black males without cause.
* In human terms, here's the story.
Victim #1 - Josh said, "they jumped on me and punched me - then they jumped on Jewel, (victim #2) punching her in the face for no reason at all.
Victim #3 - Adrian got punched in the face, then high-tailed it and ran away as fast as he could. Josh tried to protect Jewel, but Jewel wound up with a bloody nose and swollen eye. A ambulance took Jewel to St. Frances Hospital in Evanston for further examination.
911 was called. A police report was made. The offenders are still on the loose.
For political reasons, Alderman Moore will tell you 'crime is down.' Don't believe him. He's not telling the truth. As long as Alderman Moore is in charge, everyone needs to watch their backs. It's dangerous out there and Alderman Moore isn't lifting a finger to help.

You know you're going to be called a Nazi and a Racist now don't you? You should only report the crime not the ethniticity of victims or attackers.
It's ok we know you want to call out Black people after all that's at the basis of most of your rap. But some of us don't fear White people's awareness of Black crime so Toni you can stop with the whining, call them Black if they're black, go ahead it doesn't hurt at all...when you say Moore won't lift a finger about crime you lower your blog to silly statments, after all if Moore just wants big development in RP as you claim he would want crime to be low, he might even lift a finger
How can any person call Graig a racist, when all he is doing is stating facts. One group where white the other group black.
When crime happens the information sent out to different branchs of law enforcemnet states certain facts!
One of this facts are height, weight, racial make up of the person we would be looking for.
Fact! As the saying goes.."It is what it is"
I think that it's fair to include the race of the individuals involved in an incident like this. Perhaps race had something to do with the attacks? Either way, it's important for police and the public to track "who" is perpetrating crimes against "whom."
It's ok to say exactly what the attackers looked like. We ALL have to watch out for them.
