I'll be pretty busy tomorrow getting out the vote, so I'll only have time for two or three election day posts. I'm counting on him not to screw up the great coverage our Rogers Park bloggers have done over the last few months. Our blogging reputation is on the line. Not only does Rogers Park have the most diverse group of citizens in the nation, we have the most diverse group of bloggers too.

Busy getting out the vote? I was hoping that you'd be running all over the ward with your trusty camera looking for Joe Moore engaging in some act of petty corruption, or at least looking foolish.
Oh well, Joe Moore's probably laying awake right now, unable to sleep because of just such a thought.

One more thought about *&^%! robo-calls from an article in Campaingns and Elections magazine:
...A major message that comes through these experiments: Quality counts. The more personal the contact, the more likely it is to motivate someone to vote. Phone calls by volunteers or well-trained and committed callers work much better than calls made by professional callers with no connection to the candidate or cause. In the case of phones, paying $1.50 for a high quality call is far more cost effective than paying 50 cents for a short call hurriedly read by an uncommitted caller.
