"There's no quality control on purpose, no checks and balances," says Nate Toler, currently head organizer of an Acorn campaign. "Acorn statements aren't to be taken at face value. The internal motto is 'We don't care if it's a lie, just so long as it stirs up the conversation."

Acorn and its affiliates have pulled some real stunts in recent years. In Ohio in 2004, a worker for one affiliate was given crack cocaine in exchange for fraudulent registrations that included underage voters, dead voters and pillars of the community named Mary Poppins, Dick Tracy and Jive Turkey.
Another Wall Street Journal article.
Jive Turkey...classic.
...however, the ACORN flyer outlining the comments posted by Paradise and others in this blog is not a lie. I read the comments for myself. ACORN should have also printed the one urging the Darwin award. Social Darwinism has been embraced by white supremists. That's what is really spurring this blog and this campaign for Gordon. Cleaning up Morse means getting the poor blacks out, now we find out it also means celebrating the deaths of a Mexican familily with more than three children. Obviously these bloggers are well to do and unabashed at their own hate club, shame on all of you!

So it's not a lie or a reconstruction of the total post and subsequent comments to copy/paste one or two totally out of context huh?
How do you approach the racist in Joe Moore who, as alderman, has allowed humans to live in unsafe buildings irregardless of ethniticity? What says ACORN on that issue? What says ACORN on campaign contributions and favors from and to SLUMLORDS?
I sincerely doubt you have all the answers after all.
Vanessa, it was Gordon and his supporters who tried to keep Top Hat on Morse, and who objected to the condo plans for that space. It was Joe who did nothing but claim that the owner didn't want his help. You Moore supporters need to stop lying. Your noses are growing.
That hapless addict and the fool who paid him with drugs have sure given John Fund something to write about. Good thing for Fund, because there wasn't much else hard evidence of individual fraud that year in Ohio.
Shoot, in 4 years of ignoring voter intimidation and outright disenfranchisement so it could put most its voting law resources into pursuing individual fraudulent voters, the Justice Department only managed to come up with 86 convictions in the entire country. And most of cases wouldn't have been prevented by voter ID.

....and do not try to associate the "Darwin Award" comment with me.
My former sign-in is Paradise, and I stated merely that people need to be responsible, that is all.
I don't celebrate the deaths of 6 defenseless kids who never had a damn thing to say about who they were born to or where they were living.
I resent A)my comments being quoted completely out of context by the ACORN liars, and B)a remark made by someone else ascribed to me.
Listen, Liars of ACORN, if you are going to quote me, please do not attribute others' remarks to me, and quote me FULLY. That means publish ALL the comments I made, not just the ones that serve your twisted purpose.
I once respected ACORN, but your behavior in this election has vastly reduced your organization in my eyes. I'm not affluent myself, so I will make sure that the little money I can afford to allocate to helping others will go to an organization that does more to actually feed and house people, and get them jobs.
You lying cretins.
