* One Wacky 49th Ward Resident
No, not the guy in the wire rim glasses, that's Joseph with the SEIU. I'm talking about the guy on the right. The one waving to the camera, holding the three Joe Moore campaign signs in his hand.
He's one wacked out neighbor.
About mid-morning, this moron starts yanking out Joe's signs at Morningside Court, 1250 West Morse Avenue. I'm 200 feet away, on the other side of the action, but I hear Joseph and the 'nut case' get into a heated discussion.
Joseph is mad at the guy for pulling the signs up and taking them. Joseph thinks he's helping me and thinks he's part of my team. I had to explain to Joseph, I didn't know the irate neighbor. I had to tell him, lot's of people are mad at Joe.
This ties me up for a few minutes, it keeping me from doing my duties. All the while, the half dozen or so Joe campaigners are able to continue to do theirs for Moore.
Finally, I was able to convince the 'whack job' to leave - and for Joseph and the SEIU mob to get off my back.
BLOGNOTES: Does anyone know this guy? Was this guy just a set-up to keep me pre-occupied?
And Joe, I know you requested this photograph. You wanted to know who the 'nut job' is?
Here he is. He's all yours. He didn't do me any favors by causing all that ruckus. I was so undernamed at my precinct as it was. Now he can deal with your wrath. It was this guy who was stealing your signs at precinct 26. I had nothing to do with it.

Many have pulled Joe Moore signs and given them a good toss... leave the poor guy alone.
I agree with biochick. I doubt that he was the only one pulling signs. He just happened to get caught.
It's not all about you.
There are people who have no idea who you are who just don't like Alderman Joe.
For all your name-calling, the only concrete charge you make is pulling up Joe's signs. It was a popular pastime.
