Drum circles,
knitting club?
That part I think we can do without.
Common Cup looks like a nice establishment,
Superdull name however,
They should put some tables outside
as well.
I will check them out,

This type of article is like comcast newsmakers,
that weird interlude that comcast puts on in the morning inbetween
headline news in lieu of the ads
or its like
the realestate ad/article of the family who has to buy a new house in sprawlsville cuz they cant stop breeding.

but its good to get this type of news out. Because we need antisprawl, and smart development.

Comon Cup will never get off the ground with all of the youths hanging around on the south side of the 1400 and 1500 block of Morse in the afternoon-
Wonder if 2431 CAPS can resolve this problem-

I think that people in the area can either deal with this activity on morse or cant,
Personally it doesnt bother me,
there is usually two cop cars
on morse with a blue light camera, so atleast in daylight things are pretty secure.
I think only supersmall tables would work at commoncup outside on the greanleaf side,
btw that jamaican restaurant on morse has some AWESOME CATFISH, seriously. Just watch for bones in the chicken, it takes awhile for her to cook it but its worth the wait. I thought there was an antiloitering law, or perhaps they are just waiting for a bus that doesnt exist or is super super late.

Good to be back northcoast, Thanks.

been there said...

small thing about loitering-
a little thing called the constitution

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

makes it difficult to make laws against loitering. silly founding fathers made it apply to everyone, even teenagers that are the "wrong" color.
so sorry.

Nobody adult is going to patronize any business that has noisy, intimidating gaggles of unruly teens of ANY color hanging about close to the door.

They scream and yell and squeal and shriek and jump up and down and shove each other and in general make adults back away and go elsewhere. Doesn't matter what race or socio-economic group they belong to-they're an equal-opportunity annoyance.

IMO the best solution is the "sound" solution- you know, playing music with tones only people that age can hear, that they find extremely annoying.
