Smmo said... Hi everyone. This may seem a little off topic but it still has to do with local area business. I am a student living on the 1600 block of Farwell and right now I am studying for finals.
The problem is that every afternoon from 2pm - 4pm, I am forced to deal with Willy's Ice Cream truck that is constantly parked on Morse and Paulina.
I can hear the music playing everyday from my apartment- the same tune over and over and over - and it is beginning to drive my girlfriend and I insane. It is especially annoying while I am trying to do schoolwork. I just wish he didn't have to play that tune EVERYDAY, FOR HOURS AT A TIME!
I am just wondering if anyone else feels the same way about this as I do...
BLOGNOTES: Send Willy down to the 1340 West Morse - The Rider Building. Maybe that silly ice cream jingle will drive the 'Open Air Drug Market' salesman to another corner?

The truck is parked in a bad place on a traffic corner and by my own accout have had to move quickly to some ones bad driving skill during the school dismisial-
Also wonder who cleans up after the kids throw wrapers every where-
Uncle Wally just loves to see the ice cream truck in the neighborhood. All those kids (sigh).
We have the same crap all day on Sunday on Campbell because of the soccer in Rogers Park (the park called Rogers) and everyday in the summer when I get home too. On Sunday he sits there for hours. The music starts at 10:00. Also, even when there are parking spots he sits in the middle of the street so we can all hug by to avoid knocking off our side-view mirror while we pass him.
