Hi Craig,
I've been reading your blog off and on, and appreciate the stuff you have to say.
Our church, Living Water community church ( Pratt & Ashland) is hosting a prayer vigil, without the support of Cease-Fire tonight at Lakewood and Pratt at 6 p.m.
We're praying against violence in all it's forms, because we're historically a peace church.
If you or your readers are able, please join us tonight for a prayer vigil at 1321 W. Pratt (near Lakewood) where 21-year-old Anthony Morgan was shot and killed on Tuesday night, June 19 around 8 p.m. Our focus is to pray for all those affected by this event and to pray for a return of peace to the neighborhood.
If you can't be with us in person, please be with us in prayer. We as a church are being asked to take the lead in this prayer response rather than Ceasefire, as they have no precedent for responding to a shooting done by the police.
"Our stance is not to lay blame on any particular party but to ask God to end the violence in our neighborhood." - Pastor Sally
Blessings,
Kirk

I guess even the Rogers Park Bench get's his information from the Morse Hell Hole. Click here to see the actual prayer with commentary. Note to Tom, this is why I won't do the video project.
