From the Seeker - A lawsuit filed on behalf of a lesbian who said she was denied shelter in November because she disclosed she is gay has been resolved with an apology and a pledge.

In a settlement announced Wednesday, Rev. Bud Ogle, the Presbyterian pastor who founded Good News Partners, the ministry that runs the city-funded New Life Shelter in Rogers Park, promised to rid its facilities of discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
