Joe Moore won't tell you, but we've got a gooning problem in Rogers Park. Less than twenty-four hours after a severe goonings - the gooners are leaving their mark.
Four people have already sent me e-mail photos of these Goon hang-man markings that are now popping up. None of these photos or a press release were from the Alderman's office.
BLOGNOTES: Is this just a coincidence? Why is it these crimes always happen around the Heartland Cafe and Michael James' home?

The alderman's birthday party is scheduled for 7/16 at his house. Perhaps he could grace us with his presence long enough to not only top up his war chest but also address the issue of residents getting beaten to a bloody pulp AGAIN and what he's going to do about it?

There is another hangman goon symbol on Greenleaf and Glenwood, on the west side of the train wall. I think there is a connection between the symbol and the gooning, but it may not be what you think. Hanging and hangman symbols are used by KKK and neo-nazi members and there are definitely members in our neighborhood. Heads up: There are people out there that are going to make this worse than it is. These people are not heroes; They are damn bigoted supremacists who assume the color of someone's skin is making them do things.

The white supremacists are really pissed because Michael James was part of this group called "Rising Up Angry' in uptown back in the 60's. Mike James tried to run the white supremacists out of Uptown. Now they want revenge.

We sure as hell don't need white supremists in the mix. You never saw violence like what we would have if you toss these goons into the stew.
Have read a half dozen or so recent articles on the horrific violence generated in Orange County, CA by a group that calls itself Public Enemy No 1, which is Truth in Advertising. This gang started as a white supremist hate group started by affluent, BORED, Orange Co. teens. It has since swelled vastly, commits ghastly hate crimes, as well as fraud and identity theft. It has aligned itself with the Aryan Brotherhood.
These types of groups are most prevalent in MO and on westward, but they have outposts here.
So let's not fan the flames. I don't believe these goonings are "racial" in character-it is just a matter of being unlucky enough to be the frail older person who crosses the path of these scum.
And I don't believe what we are seeing is a "race war"- just an outsized number of ex-cons and other unplaceable undesirables bein dumped on us because our Aldercreature has made this ward available for the purpose. I don't believe the gooners are representative of their racial group, I only believe that they are a bunch of hard-core felons who will jump any luckless person who crosses their path, and that we need to run them out AND the landlords who harbor them.
It always gets back to very badly run buildings owned and operated by profiteering slumowners who are cozy with our AlderBeast.
Kinda creepy having White Supremacists link this site to theirs. But please it's kind of a long draw to think these people are carrying a 40 year grudge against Mike James.

Worse then it is? Hords of teenagers beating up people and potentialy killing them, unless they are stopped and possibly they are commiting hate crimes of unstoppable porportions and thats not the worst it gets?
First of all you don't know who drew that, what if it was one of the gooners maybe it was a goonee fed up. Graffiti that is gang related is as bad as KKK. I think they are both equal in their hate and crimes against races. Gang activity, gooning doesn't allow for the respect of protection. And to say at this level of crime KKK is worst then gangbanging is fooling themselves.

Can you clarify on what you mean by "You don't have the unfortunate experience to know what I know?" Are you referring to knowing who wrote the hangman graffiti or something else?
First of all I never said you Nicolette nor anyone reading my word said you approved of gooning. But I am going to equate gangbanging being as bad as for the races as the supreme assholed the KKK. I am not a party or supporter of either.
Who actually drew the diagram do you even know yet? What if it was the gooners? I feel my questions are valid as well as my point of view. I had a friend stabbed to death she was white the killer was black, was it racial, nope it was a crime, but gooning is potentially a racist crime. I had a friend walking home two summers ago and a gang of black kids went after him, because he was "a cracker" thats what the adorable gooners said. And my friend said the hardest thing for him to say to the police was that they were all black. Many of us don't have time for racism, its a busy world we do volunteer work and try to make things better, but yes i stick withmy statement does stomping peoples heads in get any worst? This states that the drawing are being done by the gooners themselves, which is where I took and made mt response. My response is based that it is the gooners, not goonees.
