* Body Found on Howard (Updated x-2)

From the Tribune News Briefs:
A body partially wrapped in plastic was found Wednesday afternoon in a catch basin, police said. Foul play is suspected, according to an Evanston Police Department press release.

At about 3:45 p.m., police officers were called to the 800 block of Howard Street, where plumbers had been power rodding a drain pipe, according to the release. The plumbers opened a catch basin located at the rear of a building and discovered the body, police said.

It was unclear Wednesday night how long the body had been there, police said.. The Cook County medical examiner's office said it has not determined the age, gender or race of the victim. An autopsy is expected Thursday.

The North Regional Major Crimes Task Force is investigating. Evanston police will hold a Thursday press conference to release more information about the investigation.

Updated 1: This incident occurred at the Hoyne and Howard intersection.

You think it might be foul play?

What a way to be disposed off.

Me, I prefer cremation and then spreading my ashes outside a water intake crib.

That way people can drink up my sugary goodness.

Huggins tried to choke one of the robbery victims at a store in the 6800 block of North Sheridan Road on Saturday and threatened to kill her, prosecutors said at his bond hearing. In February, Huggins and two other suspects are alleged to have robbed three people at gunpoint on the North Side.

He is charged with intimidation of a witness, armed robbery, home invasion and aggravated criminal sexual assault in the two incidents.

The other two robbers have not been identified, officials said.
