* Loyola Shuttle Bus Driver Endangers Everyone & Breaks the Law

The Loyola cover story was right. Take a look at the 10 a.m. shuttle. Shuttle bus 2875. It's missing a left tail light. Also, a vent cover on the left side of the bus is falling off. It looks like the bumper is coming off too.

And worst of all, this wild driver was a total maniac. He nearly cut off a half dozen cars from Loyola to Belmont. And not only that, the driver was speeding upwards to 70 miles and hour on Lake Shore Drive. Yes, up to 70 miles an hour. The bus drive musta been in a hurry?

All I can say is, good luck Loyola students if you ride any of these junky Loyola shuttle buses. You'll need it. Not only are the buses dangerous, so are the people behind the steering wheel.

"Not only are the buses dangerous, so are the people behind the steering wheel."

Said by the guy taking pictures while driving. Were you on the phone, too? Put the camera down and pay attention to the road, man.

The parents pay about 35,000 yearly , this is the best bus company they can find?

Also Graig you generate alittle revenue for our city by sending the picture of the lady in her mini-van talking on her cell phone while driveing.

A Long time ago I heard, " If Jesuits are present it's a bad neighborhood!"

In the Loyola article it says they are getting new buses... Isn't this just a temporary problem then?

Wow craig, you are nuts. I've been on the LUC shuttle and CTA buses and let me tell you. I would rather be on a Loyola shuttle any day of the week. I never have to worry about those buses breaking down. Or my bus driver being a rude asshole.

and as the story said, these buses are temporary. the luc students are just being babies. the old loyola shuttles were school buses, yes school buses. these buses are going from point a to point b just fine.

you always hate on loyola any chance you get.

Those bus drivers are pretty terrible. We had one cut into our lane, completely oblivious to the fact that we were there. We swerved to get in another lane. And then the bus driver did it again! When we watched him do it a third time to another car, I suggested to my husband that we get way ahead or way behind this guy. A few days later I watched the same thing happen again. While my two observations don't make a trend, it's not good.
