Quarrel leads to Rogers Park slaying.

An Edgewater man was shot to death early Thursday after a quarrel in a Rogers Park apartment, Chicago police said.

One of several men involved in the quarrel left the apartment in the 6900 block of North Ridge Boulevard and returned with a handgun, police said.

Officers found the man about 3:45 a.m. Thursday with a bullet wound to the head.

Narad Gonzalez, 34, of the 6000 block of North Sheridan Road was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police said they had no suspects in custody. They said they believe that Gonzalez was a member of the Latin Kings street gang, but the motive for the shooting had not been determined.
