* Too Complex for Blogs

"The issues of taxes vs. services, waste vs. efficiency, and out- sourcing vs. city jobs are complex and not well-served by simplified blog-like arguments."
From a Joe Moore e-mail. November 5, 2007.

Joe is softening the ground for his vote in favor of Daley's property tax increase next week.

Please leave the property tax hikes and policy making to professionals. Don't try this at home.

Joe sits on the finance committee that approved the budget to go to the full city council which means he's likely already voted for it.

Joe claims to be for the little guy but he lies. The finance committee agreed to roll back the property tax increase by about 20% yet they agreed to roll back the bottled water tax by 50%! Big companies win again and the rest of us can suck lemons.

It seems to be too complex for the politicians also. Meow.

Whenever a politician says that something is too complex for us little people discuss you know it's because they are scheming on another way to enrich themselves at our expense. How fucking arrogant of Joe to say that it's too complex for us to discuss. He said the same thing about Gateway Plaza -- that it was too complicated for us little people to understand.

Last time I checked, Joe did not have a degree in finance though he is very good at raising campaign contributions.

Joe Moore the independent voice. HA. He'll kiss any ass if it gets him more money or power. Money in campaign contributions that he is completely free to use any way he wishes -- including paying his property tax bill, his kid's allowance (Nathan the intern), pay offs to voters, and on and on it goes.
