A mail carrier was just hit by a car at Howard and Bosworth. The car fled north on Bosworth. The police have the make/model and color of the car and the license plate number. Nothing further on this one.
We've just got word on a three car crash at Eastlake and Sheridan and one at Juneway and Sheridan. Cars are not drivable, but word is going out over the police radio to have all accident victims to come in to the 24th district police station for paperwork purposes. Nothing further.
Updated 5:45 PM: Oops, another accident at Eastlake and Sheridan. This corner is dangerously slippery. If you're going to be driving tonight, be careful out there folks.
Updated 5:55 PM: Oops, yet another accident at Eastlake and Sheridan. Streets and Sanitation have been notified to salt this corner.

It's horrid out there.
Drivers AND pedestrians need to take extra care.
If you are on foot, don't think you are safe just because you have the green light. People are flying down Sheridan like it was a dry street in summer and the streets are icing up quickly.

Thanks for keeping me informed about my neighborhood as well as entertained. The Good, Bad and Ugly exist everywhere... but it means much more when you have a vested interest. Funny, that I found your site after trying to find information about the horrible car wreck I was awakened by a couple of summers ago... on the very street you write about now. (An upside down Toyota?)
I see once again, The Deadman's Curve claims more careless drivers.
