Our campaign will be hard at work this weekend, canvassing, distributing literature and posters, and generally enjoying ourselves as we do the work we love. Our formidable and fun grassroots campaign has already caused a lot of buzz, a lot of interest, and---this just confirmed---enough momentum that the opposition is avoiding joint appearances. It's no surprise, we all know. In head-to-head forums, this campaign wins!
We're gathering today, (Sunday) @ 11:00 a.m. There will be volunteers in the office until the early afternoon to receive people who need to come later.
Campaign Office: 4704 N. Kenmore • Chicago, Illinois 60640
I look forward to seeing you!
Suzanne
Candidate for State Senate
7th Legislative District, Illinois

I encourage everyone to get out and help Suzanne. She is the underdog, here. You can tell by the Steans endorsements that she is the money/machine vote. Let's get out and tell them we are tired of the Stroger/Moore/Shakowsky endorsement politics. It is pay to play going on right here in this race. No doubt about it. Look up Heather Steans or even the Steans Family Foundation and what you get is a big donor family being paid back for all that money funneled to the democratic party. Sick of it.
We'll be covering the Heather Steans money connections soon enough on the 'Broken Heart'.
If you want a fluff piece on Heather, next week I've got a Exclusive profile interview in Gay Chicago Magazine.
Beside a few GLBT questions, we covered TIF's, housing, renters, taxes and lakefront expansion.
I'll be clear for my readers - and so it doesn't get twisted around by others on the internet the wrong way.
Gay Chicago Magazine does not endorse candidates. I have changed the direction of the publication during election cycles to offer candidates running for office a venue to answer a series of questions.
Both 7th district State Senate candidates were presented with and answered the exact same questions.
Personally, I can choose who I want to back. It's no secret among the insiders.
They found out during the IPI-IVO issue.
