* Utter Stupidity in the 49th Ward

Lol Moz said...> "You know, when I went to Fagus' office to complain about the "magic pens" this morning, both he and the guy working the front desk said the city was, in fact, using invisible ink markers for ballots this year. So the election judges and the democratic committeeman told me the magic pens were valid, yet Morse Asshole Craig still feels free to call ME an idiot on his blog."

Blognotes #1: Well, it's not just me Loi Moz, Mother Superior, Rubber Nun, or whatever you want to call yourself today. You are a idiot!

Click the video and see for yourself. Channel 2 called the incident and those involved, "utter stupidity". The national media thinks you're a moron. World-wide comments have ranged the gambit. Here are just two comments from the hundreds and hundreds that flood the internet.

"Invisible ink? C'mon ... No one is stupid enough to make that mistake. If they're truly that stupid then how in the hell do they feed and clothe themselves? How do they pay bills or even go to the bathroom? Yet, I know there are thousands of dopes out there who will buy this crap election after election".
****

"This is the funniest election fraud story I have ever heard! The Return of the Invisible Ink, the Real Phantom Menace! Invisible Ink Strikes Back! The Attack of the Invisible Inks. What would these fascist bastards think of next? I suppose black-box voting weren't enough obvious shenanigans for the dumbed down American sheeple! It'd be even more hilarious, if it didn't so succinctly sum up the state of civic stupidity in America. The Real joke is on us, all".

With 22 states of voters to choose from, you were ranked by bloggers as the absolute dumbest voter in the entire nation on Super Tuesday. With the amount of voters casting ballots, that's quite a accomplishment. We're the 5th boggiest neighborhood, home of the world famous military hating lawyer - and to put the icing on the cake, we have the dumbest voter in the nation! Way to put the 49th ward of Chicago on the national voting map.

But, don't shoot the messenger, Amy. You're the idiot/fool who contacted us. You're the one who wanted to make it a big deal in the media. That was your own fault. As for your snide comment under the Loi Moz moniker. I'd hide my name in shame too, if I got caught voting with a 'Magic Pen'.

Then, when you get nationally raked over the coals for being called a idiot - you start making false accusations about my character to justify your utterly boneheaded mistake. You've never met me, Ms. Carlton. How would you know what my drinking habits are?

Do you have any actual proof of this "drunk blogger"? Do you or anyone you know have photos or video as proof? How about any official documents? Have you administered any Breathalyzer tests and come back with conclusive results for this accusation? Are you a trained physiotherapist in these clinical matters? Or, are you a armchair Dr. Drew/Dr. Phil reality TV intervention specialist? Or did you just pick this up as hear-say from one of Joe Moore's inner circle? That's the kind of lies they spread about me. They have no actual proof either.

Unless you've got actual evidence, this is a fabrication and you're spreading outright lies to cover up the fact you're an total idiot who doesn't have a clue how to vote with the proper equipment. A functioning brain.

Blognotes #2: If that's the way you guys want to blog-play, I can too. From the stories I've received by qualified sources, I should hire Tom Mannis to follow Joe Moore around the local bars and taverns. Word on the street is, Joe Moore loves his Heineken - and is quite the boozer. Don't believe me, click the link.

Summary: Other than Amy, to the 19 voters who believed David Fagus, his organization, and his full of crap judges, read this clearly. You're ALL idiots, plain and simple. You got duped. Fooled. Bamboozled. But don't worry, you're not the first - and you certainly won't be the last.

Craig, that should read:
"You are AN idiot!"

craig, how about cutting her a little slack? what do you say?

it was 6:05 AM, OK?

she realized she had been had, unfortunately not until after her ballot went into the scanner

yeah it was 2 oh stoopid in retrospect, but any of us susceptible to a scam

the real story is she spend most of a day following up trying to re-enfranchise herself

Wow, this is exceptionally mean-spirited. I agree that Amy deserves accolades, not ridicule, for both her perseverance and her attempt to expose some Cook County voting shenanigans.

you should be grateful to her, we'll be laughing about the Fagus administration's magic pens decades from now when we are sitting around the bar in the Century House & telling war stories

I had to stop reading after that. Whichever random moontard you are excoriating in this post does indeed sound like a moron. But I couldn't read your blog for even a second longer. This is the problem with the "blogosphere." The illiterate shouldn't write.

"You are AN idiot." "A" never precedes a vowel.

"Utter stupidity" is not how you describe an event AND a group of people. At least not in English.

Worldwide is one word, not requiring a hyphen.

"Hundreds and hundreds" is neither a proper phrase (redundant), nor does it really make sense. Hundreds and hundreds of comments does not a "flood" make. To see a flood, go to a blog people actually read, like LGF who you were mysteriously linked from.

And the comments didn't "range the GAMBIT," they "ran the gamut." Ranging a gambit would mean to patrol some sort of cunning trap. Is that what the comments did? Or could it be that you just have an extremely weak grasp on the English language, and you're using it to humiliate someone equally stupid. You and this jackhole who appears to be scared of invisible ink should start a blog together. You could call it, "Bipartisan Tardspasms."

I'm so happy my words inspired you so much to write. LOL. Now let your little hard-on die down before you zip your pants up. Nothing further.

Zing! You really... uh... got me. I guess. But a, "Good point. Maybe I should read a book, or two, before setting out to write for myself," really would have sufficed.

Oh, sorry, here ya go:
suffice - intransitive verb
1 : to meet or satisfy a need : be sufficient
as in "a brief note will suffice" —often used with an impersonal it
as in "suffice it to say that they are dedicated, serious personalities"

While I agree that it is a pretty stupid con to fall for, it is a con nonetheless. I would think the bigger issue here would be the voter disenfranchisement.

wow. I knew it would be fun to watch Craig unspool. Judging from his rant I think it has begun. And he's giving us all a front row seat.

Popcorn anyone?

Knightridge Overlook said...

It's not the first time Craig's brain exploded on the blog, Bloglurker. Let's just make sure we send a copy of this to the next version of Suzanne Elder that pops up and thinks it's okay to promote their crap on Craig's blog.

Again, Tommy, we're all very sorry you suffered so many humiliating wedgies in the school yard.

Get some counseling, please. It will do you a world of good.

The phrase, "Utter Stupidity in the 49th Ward" certainly does generate a lot of nominees.

If the Ward Committeeman believes in magic pens with invisible, yet recordable, ink on ballots, then that was one heck of an amusing revelation.

Maybe, Fagus also believes in the Great Pumpkin. Has anyone asked?

Kudos to Amy for bothering to ask Fagus the spin meister for his words of wisdom! I wish that she had brought her camcorder.

Go Amy go! i guess you and Craig won't be going to the prom

What you want to question is not agan but the Poll Watchers or the State Attorneys office and how did the ballot end up being fed through the ballot machine? Is anyone contesting this precients numbers?
