For many Rogers Park bloggers, if they had a drop off from 200 to 500 in readership from day to day - they'd probably be in the minus for readers. Not here at the Hell Hole. It was another huge week at the 'Broken Heart'! Nearly 12,000 visitors viewed about 16,000 pages. But the most exciting part. Since I installed my counter in 2006, we just passed the Million Page Views mark this morning.
It's a far cry from 2001 when it took me hours to flyer the neighborhood - only to reach 1/10th of the amount of people I can reach here in one blog post. Plus, I'm not forcing any of you to read this: like Joe Moore's email blasts. You come here voluntarily.
And, not only that, apparently those Hell Hole hate-bloggers and whiny residents that have tried to boycott the 'Broken Heart' are having ZERO effect. Advertising in Chicago Journal doesn't hurt either. Whoo hoo, readers - thanks a lot. Oh, and Happy St. Patty's Day.

I don't know much about how IP addresses are parceled out, but is it possible the "Springfield" address is actually a local politician who uses a Springfield-based internet service?
