* Mysterious Incident @ Morse and Lakewood

Tonight something mysterious happened at the bus stop at Morse Avenue and Lakewood. As of 9 PM, two squad cars were guarding the bus shelter that was blocked off with yellow crime tape. ET processed the scene. Waiting for removal service. Also, scanner chatter indicated someone was at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston - and a body bag was requested. Nothing further.

The scanner party continues. 9:50 PM. More drama tonight. Lawrence Hall, 1320 West Greenleaf. Alleged kid with gun running around. Offender is a black male, black skull cap, black jeans, white gym shoes, red and black jacket. Police are using caution and searching the neighborhood.

Someone call Kevin O'Neil and tell the liar his 'fabulous' CAPS Beat 2431 methods aren't effective. Sick drunk down in front of Soo Liquors.

I saw them working on the woman in the ambulance. You could see the blood, not a great amount, on the cement in the bus stop. One of the kids who talks to me said she was about 40 yrs old, white, and he could see her breathing. That was around 7:00 p.m. Several hours later I spoke with him again and he said she died on the scene, before the ambulance even took off. This may or may not have been a crime. Theoretically, she could have had a terrible bleeding ulcer, a hemhorage of some kind, or she may simply have fallen face first to the ground. We don't know.
