5:38 PM: 4 male blacks jumped out of a 1998 Blue GMC Carry-all van and gave the beat down to a victim. Offenders headed west on Juneway with a shot-gun.

* 6:45 PM: Battery in progress. Northeast corner of Rogers and Sheridan. Black male beating a black male. Victim is on the ground with an injury. Offender is in a green shirt and jeans, heading west on Rogers. Ambulance has been called.

6:48 PM: Alleged offender is heading to the store at Rogers and Greenview.

6:49 PM: Alleged offender in custody at Howard and Bosworth.

6:59 PM: Victim going to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. Offender is going to jail.
