About 9:45 p.m., police patrolling the area of Rogers and Damen avenues heard what they thought was a gunshot. The officers saw a dark-colored sport-utility vehicle believed to be the source of the shots and attempted to pull it over.
“The vehicle began to flee from the officers,” Nagode said. The officers tried to pull the SUV over again and saw Abner Novelo, a passenger, jump out holding his side to apparently hold the weapon, the captain said. During a short foot chase, Novelo threw a loaded .38-caliber chrome revolver to the ground. The gun was recovered by police, Nagode said. Source.

I wonder if his pals call him "Lil' Abner"?
Sounds like EXCELLENT work by the police!
This criminal will be back on the streets tomorrow with another gun riding the streets looking for someone to kill. Let's hope it isn't a child or innocent bystander. Besides being totally confused about what the hell a Super Delagate is, I am just as confused as to where the hell are these guns comming from. How does a 14 or 15 year old kid get a gun? We have the wisdom and technology to make the guns, but we don't have the wisdom and technology to control them. Does micro-chip ring a bell...
Rogers and Damen. That's Pottawatomie Park. Swing by for an elote, get shot.
My point is that we live in a densely populated area, have other things to do, and when the CPD is efficient, it can eventually deter crime.
Here is the link to the Rhoni Rheuter murder in Deerfield.
