Craig, other than a few kids smoking a joint getting the munches at 7241, there is little else happening on my block. There is no 7255 N. Ridge based upon my recall unless it is the large condo.
I was walking the dog part of the afternoon down that alley except when we went to see Get Smart. I do throw crap in the alley dumpsters and I often make a loud thump. You see, I have the dog and bagging/throwing out the dog crap of others is difficult while holding the leash.
This was likely firecrackers or a dumpster thud, but Beat 2424 encourages neighbors to call even when firecrackers go off so go figure. I usually thud at the dumpsters near 7241 N. Ridge and just across the street at 7301 N.Ridge.
Other than the kids playing soccer in the eastbound alley, who sometimes light a few fire crackers, we are the only ones usually making noise. However, my son claims that he heard something on Friday afternoon and could not figure out whether a guy who was at 7300 N. Rogers had an umbrella or a gun. Big difference; I am betting an umbrella, since who would carry a bee bee or rifle, when you can carry a more easily concealable pistol.
Craig, you have to travel northeast to Seely and Birchwood to get much unless you want to attract attention. However, there is one amusingly dressed character.
