9:51 PM: The gun play in Rogers Park continues. Or does it? Anonymous neighbor is calling 911. Several shots fired at Juneway and Sheridan. 7756 North Sheridan to be exact. Police touring the neighborhood aren't hearing a thing and gave fellow officers the
"slow down."

A lot of activity up that way tonight. Some fireworks, I think.
I heard sirens a few minutes ago. There have been a lot of fireworks going off and sometimes people mistake them for guns.
This is NOH and the stigma remains.
"Blood on every corner". Heard that one from a former 60 year old gangbanger.
Maybe some more fireworks going off on the east side of gale....
perhaps this as related to the drug deal I was fortunate enough to witness while stopped at a red light at Howard & Sheridan around 9:15. Of course it's not fair to assume it was drugs they were exchanging (I would hate to "profile" the 2 guys). Maybe they were just exchanging a small bag of some other white powdery substance--such as flour--so the other guy could finish baking cookies.
