* Man Down on Morse
Here's a "man down" at Morse this evening around 7:15 PM. (Event number 18531) Three police squads, fire and EMS arrive on scene to take another wasted drunk off to the hospital. I'm guessing, like usual, he was panhandling around CAPS Beat 2431 all day to earn buy his booze. Suckers always give this guy money.
Let's count the number of Administrative Notice of Ordinance Violations this passed out in front of the CTA door drunk has violated today.
8-4-030
10-8-526/98-1261#1.4
10-8-526/98-1261#1.6(a)
possibly a 8-4-081
But did he get any of these tickets? Hell no. Instead he get's a free night stay and a square meal, plus transportation on the tax payer and health insurance payers dime.
Why? Because this is tolerated on Morse Avenue.
I'd seriously like to know what it cost us in tax payer funded man-power, to haul this ass wipe off the sidewalk every fucking time he get's all shit face drunk from cheap booze he buys at Soo Liquors, then passes out. (Yeah, I'm pissed as I write this)
See, this guys a repeat offender, featured in my masthead.
I'll fill you in on what happened next tomorrow. But here's a sneek preview.

Yes, Craig, but he wasn't riding his bicycle on a sidewalk! THEN he woulda been in REAL trouble!
By the way, Welcome Back to Chicago, the City That Used To Work.
Yes, Welcome back to Chicago! Sorry to see you got such an awful welcome home event, first the drunk and then later from the police. Take three deep breaths and know that many of us here in Rogers Park love and appreciate you - even if we don't always agree with you.
- PEACE -

Too bad he didn't walk over to Jarvis before he passed out. Then they would have just driven by and kept on going. LOL
By the way, Craig, why are you pointing out the fact that no tickets were issued to this man when you didn't bother to mention it about the man on Jarvis?
What's your solution to this problem? Are you suggesting that he not be given first aid or taken to a hospital or treatment center?
