* Rogers Park Resident Charged with Stealing Gas
Two Chicago men have been accused of stealing thousands of gallons of gas from two Park Ridge stations in a carefully orchestrated scheme that provided fill-ups for themselves and their friends, authorities said Friday.
The pair allegedly pried open the front panel on pumps at both stations on Touhy Avenue and manipulated the gears so they could get the gas for free.
"It's been driving us crazy," said Joe Paglini, owner of one of the stations, the Park Ridge Shell. "We're just a mom and pop business. It's tough enough with the gas prices now."
Adam Martinez, 28, of the 5100 block of W. Carmen Ave. in Chicago and Dennis Djirackor, 28, of the 1600 block of W. Greenleaf Ave. were charged with theft of motor fuel and criminal damage to property. Source.

5:04 PM: Underage dice game gambling on Jonquil.
Just one dice game call? There's a dice game every day at any one of these locations, Gale Park, Gale School, Jonquil Terrace, Bosworth, or Ashland. Lay your money down, walk around the block and come back to collect your winnings. We don't need a casino in the Loop. We've got it NOH.
