I guess last nights 'shots fired' call was a little closer to home than I thought. I found two of the three shell casings under my kitchen window this morning. From the size of the casings - it looks like a small caliber gun. I called 911 to inform them of the findings. If they could've given a rats ass, that would've been a step in the right direction. But they didn't.
Also: Last night about 10:00 PM, a call for a battery call came in at 6528 North Ashland. As the first responder (fire) was called to the scene, he got battered too.

I saw a fire truck, an ambulance, and police at Ashland and Albion around 9:45 p.m. The people watching said someone was passed out drunk in the alley behind the Subway. They got him to stagger into the ambulance.
