* Joe Moore: Lie. Lie. Lie Some More!

The fallout has just begun on his latest 'full of lies' email blast regarding the timeline history of Gale Community Center. Joe can re-write history all he wants. No one's buying his version.
Back at the end of the run-off I acknowledged that Joe won, and he is the Alderman, however I didn't trust him. I have no more reason to trust him now than I did then, and frankly I have even less reason to even consider trusting him. Source. (24/7 Toni labels this a "Must Read" story)
-----
Like a psychopathic liar with no conscience, 49th Ward Alderman Joe Moore just can't help telling falsehoods. He bends the truth, he rewrites history. This is Revolutionary Truth, it is, and badly practiced at that. After lying through 17 years as a member of the Chicago City Council, you'd think that a man like Democrat Joe Moore could apply his law degree to a perfected level of non-truthfulness. Nope, not our Joe. He's a serial liar. Thank goodness he's a clumsy serial liar. Source.
-----
Wow, so many outright lies and twisted facts, where to begin... We'll have to come up with an annotated "truth" version. Joe has lost it -- really off the deep end. No way Obama will find a job for this loser. Source.
I've called Joe Moore untruthful on a number of occasions. Now, other Rogers Park bloggers are getting into the act.

Joe Moore's 'lying games' has finally caught up to him.

what, no back slapping? no high fives? no congratulations for all the losers on the destruction of the bgc?
go ahead, you've earned it.

In light of the Adelphi scandal, to say that Moore suffers a lack of conscience is accurate.

He is a scary man.

The little darlings have decided to show their appreciation for the new Gale facility by defacing the gym with a massive paintball fusillade.
That's right, in less than a week the brand new, 12 million dollar, 12 year awaited, long fought for facility has been f--ed up by paint balls INSIDE the gym.
Additionally, it looks like someone decided to park their car by the front doors of the same facility, and in doing so destroyed the new fencing.
Wow, it only took a week.

Also, there is a secret meeting taking place at Pottawattomie at 11:00 today with the alder creature and up to 60 others regarding dumping more prison re-entry, drug half way houses and the like into our neighborhood.
I guess I missed the e-mail blast about that.

New motto;
VOTE HIM OUT!!!

Been There....Gale School Annex...call the principal. He wants the BGC there. Plenty of room for them.

Why does Moore want all of these loser people in our neighborhood???? I really don't get it!! I see them stumbling around when I take the dogs to the lake in the morning.

Isaac Marshall said...

hey been there:

there has been plenty of community praise for itself. they are happy to keep the community center in public hands.

the bgc can still come to rogers park and im sure many who were against it at the community center would work for it in another location. after all it will have walgreens as a co-sponsor.

so stop twisting facts. the bgc was not destroyed! it was just a plan that the alderman was less than open with the community.

the crying game is getting old and quit acting like joe moore is your god!

Dear "been there", your delusional thinking is becoming tiresome. Our high fives are for the community center finally being open to the COMMUNITY. There was no destruction of the Boys and Girls Clubs. In fact, the community is also trying to find funding for the B&G to locate in the Gale School Annex -- why don't you help with that too? Who knows what Joe Moore is "doubling his efforts" for.

Bosworth said...

Razldazlrr, he can scare them into voting for him in every election....thus guaranteeing his high $$$ job and his great city pension benefits. It's a win win for him.
Notice how he doesn't locate any of the drug, rehab, halfway houses on his street?

been there said...

i will be waiting with baited breath to see the "community" raise the money and donate the hours that could replace the $100,000 funding package that they have tanked. or substitute in any way for the activities and for the relationships that would have been blooming right now.
let me know how that works out. i will be there with my checkbook if it does.

Save Street End Beaches said...

Mo, why don't you do us a favor and just start holding your breath now.

Isn't been there the one who kept telling everyone to just move on after the last election?

Move on, been there. It's over. The community has spoken. You were in the minority.

It's over. Move on.

if Moore was able to pull a $100K of taxpayer dollars out of his ass in a few short weeks for his fav charity in the park district building I'm sure a man of his extraordinary fund-raising touch could do the same for the school annex toot suite

Hugh said...

if Moore pulled together funding for the B&G in the park district field building in the 8 weeks between April and June as he claims, and he "redoubles his efforts" as he has claimed he is, then the B&G should be fully funded in the school annex in just FOUR WEEKS!

this is Joe Moore we're talking about!

Hugh said...

Joe Moore is GOD'S GIFT TO FUND-RAISING!

Joe Moore has the Midas Touch!

Joe Moore is GOLDFINGER!

Joe Moore arranged a stake in Gateway Mall for DevCorp North, for Christ's sake, he can raise $100K without breaking a sweat!

a two-decade veteran of City govt

a 17-year Alderman of the great City of Chicago

a man with a rolodex like Joe's can raise $100K in one dinner banquet

call Rich Aronson

call Bob Coe

call S&C

call Jay Johnson, maybe he would like naming rights so he can name Rogers Park's B&G club in memory of the Ramirez children

Hugh said...

did you guys see the latest e-mail blast?

Moore announced he is pledging $14,500 from his OWN POLITICAL FUND as seed money for bringing a B&G Club to Rogers Park

"Moore announced he is pledging $14,500 from his OWN POLITICAL FUND as seed money for bringing a B&G Club to Rogers Park."

Hugh, while I generally appreciate sarcasm, you should refrain from putting this kind of statement on a blog, because someone can read it as fact (I've been confused by some of your posts before, wondering whether they were true).

Joe Moore can fund the Boys and Girls Club out of his own dirty little war chest.

In the first six months of this year alone.

You also were waiting with baited breath to see only a few people protest the privatization of a public building so many had worked to create.

You were wrong then. Now, you're just a sore loser.

Or just a loser.

been there said...

it's not over until either bgc is up and running at the gale annex, or until the community center has comparable programming for the kids of rogers park. you all blew it up, you all fill the hole.

prepare to be help accountable yourselves.

Unknown said...

Will do, been there. You, of course, will redouble your efforts to make sure the new field house stays a public facility.

Right?

Unknown said...

Oh, and been there? You'll also publicly recognize that the field house will remain a public facility because that's what the majority of the community wanted.

Right?

Unknown said...

One more thing, been there. You'll help raise funds to get the bgc in the annex and make a personal donation.

Right?

Or maybe you're just all talk.

so, all you bitter enders won. you should be patting yourself on the back for your great show of force, causing the cpd to back down. but you all know that you have torn something down. and left a void.

you know, no is the easiest thing to say. no is the easiest thing to accomplish. no is the most thoughtless response to a challenge. that is all i have heard so far. no to joe. no to bgc. no to marinas. no to roads, and cars. no to condos. no to murals.
no to change.
that is not leadership. leadership does not accept no. leadership begins where no ends.

now be grown ups, and fill the hole that you created. you wanted control, now step up to the plate, and build something good. make the kids in rogers park feel like they belong. give them constructive things to do. get afterschool programs up and running. find the money to keep the annex open all summer, so that kids have somewhere to go.
find the experience, the committment, and the institutional support that you have turned down.

prove that you are more than just naysayers.
prove that you are adults.
prove that you are leaders.

my checkbook and i will be waiting at the finish line.

been there: I wish someone would fill the big hole that is your mouth.

Geez, I cannot believe the venom you inspire.

I thought you said you no longer live in Rogers Park. Run along now.

Unknown said...

Give it a rest, been there. You're starting to whine like Joe.

been there said...

sorry stseb,
don't know where you got the idea that i went somewhere. no plans to go anywhere. see, i like it here.

been there said...

rogers,
welcome to the world of accountability.

"$146,800.00" for Joe in just the first six months? Yikes!

You know, ex-Alderman Troutman pleaded guilty to taking bribes from developers in her tax evasion and fraud case today. The feds brought her down. Why aren't they bringing Alderman Moore down too?

What do/can we do to get their attention? Any suggestions?

- PEACE -

Paint balls INSIDE the gym? Is the new center so understaffed that no one saw they had paint guns? What's up with that?

been there, you have yet to fully mine the depths of your own ignorance.

The ignorance you have displayed so far, however, is nothing short of astounding.

Mo "you guys lost, stop being sore losers" Mahill,
