* Shots Fired At Police (Updated)

9:15 PM: It's a bit crazy on the scanner. Allegedly there was a car-jacking of a white Charger on Montrose. The car-jacker was armed and a police chase ensued. The car was pulled over (or crashed) and the offender allegedly started shooting at the police. The police fired back. The offender was hit. The wild west shooting incident occurred around Bryn Mawr and Washtenaw. The streets around the area are blocked off while the police sort out the details.

Update - Tuesday Morning: Car-jacker was killed.

NO, we should NOT care! He chose to steal the car and to shoot at police, knowing that doing this could result in death.

Like progun, I am glad the offender is dead. It is one less piece of s#$% crowding our prisons, which our tax dollars pay for.

Uh Craig, there is nothing "allegedly" about this. The guy stole the car at gunpoint from an innocent citizen who was waiting at a red light in the 017th district. The po po had been looking for him for about a half hour when he was spotted by the 017the distict Officers. A chase ensued and when he crashed in the 020th district, he jumped out of the car guns ablazing. He fired six shots at the police. We returned the favor and hit him before he hit one of us. Moral of the story is never, ever point a gun at the police. It could be hazardous to your health. And Craig, as long as we are onthis topic, how about posting those pictures of that "innocent" little 16 year old that was killed by the police last week after he too pointed a gun at the police. The 16 year old whose family portrayed him as a good little boy who would never be associated with guns. You know, the ones from your second favorite blog. The ones showing the choirboy holding weapons and representing. Your bloggers would love to see them.
