* Tell it Like it Is

A message posted on the Morse Theatre's Web site Monday stated: "We are grateful for the support we have received from the neighborhood and appreciate very much the kind words that have been published by members of the local press. Rogers Park is a wonderful community, and we look forward to opening the venue in the near future despite this small setback."

McGhee continues to prove himself a class act. That's why it's so hard to believe that there are individuals that could attack a project that so many Rogers Park residents and music lovers throughout the Chicago area have been looking forward to since 2006, when the project was first announced. It's also difficult to know that there is a very small minority who is also taking pleasure in another man's misfortune. For you, News-Star recommends an immediate and thorough mental health evaluation. Source.

Hi Andy, Devin and Morse theatre employees,

I can hardly wait to bring my wife and extended family to your venue.

Just curious how many jobs will this venue create.
Seems like 50 or so people have worked there for the last year.
You just might be one of RP largest employers.

Like the News Star article, I still can't begin to comprehend how ANYONE - except for the lowest form of life - would take pleasure in this tragic event.

Crimestopper2, after reading that article at the website, I have to ask the obvious question - Does he know how to get to Morse and Glenwood? Or Morse and Ashland? Or Jonquil and Paulina? Or how about Gale Park - especially after 8:00pm (O.K., anytime, really)? What a load of equine feces! Phew!

- PEACE -
