A trio of men, approximately 16, 18 and 27 years old, stole a 28-year-old man's cellphone in the 6900 block of N. Greenview around 2:15 p.m. on Aug. 20. The men approached the victim and asked him for money. When he refused, one of the men punched the victim in the face several times, while the other man grabbed the victim's cellphone valued at $200. The third man acted as a lookout. The three fled northbound on Greenview, then westbound on Lunt. Source.

I am so sick of thugs in our neighborhood - start carrying your guns!
It's tempting razl. I don't have a gun, but slowly becoming unopposed to people carrying them. If the thugs are going to attack the weak and/or solitary people (men, women, children) in group, news of one or two of their ilk getting plugged might make them think twice about these random attacks. So what do I have to do to get a gun? Head for Indiana?
Do you know what the heck was going on on Chase & Paulina last night? Cops driving on the sidewalks...gunshots...two hours of searching by flashlight...police wagons...looked like one hot mess.
Just curious, as my folks live right in-front of the incident area.
Try non-lethal weapons like kubotans. They're legal to carry.
Too bad brass knuckles are illegal. . .small, easy to hide, and highly effective.
