3:43 PM: Large street fight at 1639 West Greenleaf. 20 to 30 students are brawling according to the anonymous 911 caller. Police on-scene ask for back-up.
3:46 PM: Police now say kids are jumping on parked cars.
3:47 PM: Police say up to 200 kids are 'acting foolish' all over Ashland from Pratt to Greenleaf.
3:54 PM: 7019 North Ashland calling police now. Multiple kids fighting in front of that building.
3:59 PM: One person was taken in from Greenleaf and Ashland brawl. It's now officially broken up and coded out.
8:22 PM: Multiple 911 calls coming in. Battery in progress. Ten males beating up one male. Possible gun involved. 1300 block of West Howard. Offenders are heading eastbound and westbound on Howard.
Update - 8:22 PM: Police round up at least four of the fighters and the victim. Victim is going to the hospital. Dispatch is confused and keeps calling the 10 on 1 beating location Pratt and Bosworth.8:40 PM: 911 call for drug selling in the 1100 block of West Morse Avenue.
8:49 PM: Three 911 calls for shots fired. 1630 West Greenleaf - 1613 West Greenleaf and 1629 West Greenleaf.
8:52 PM: Dang. Crime is down tonight. Foot Chase. Police catch a runner who threw a gun. 1142 West Morse.
8:58 PM: Police have two in custody.
9:22 PM: A bullet hole has been found by the police at 1619 West Greenleaf. A brown van was hit.
9:23 PM: Everything "Gang" is east of Sheridan this evening. Gang dispersal in the 1100 block of West Lunt. Dispersing five. Event # 19161.
9:32 PM: Another group battery in progress. With nothing better to do, a bunch of males are street fighting at 2059 West Howard. It's only a matter of time before someone pulls a gun and starts shooting.

WTF? I know that's a lame thing to say and a lame way to say it but... Seriously, WTF? Do their parent(s) teach them ANYTHING? What's the point of this day after day?
I feel for the day they wake up and they're 35 and they scrambling for any job and realize how much they've wasted their life. I see it every day living in my alley near Bryn Mawr.
what parents? it's obvious that these are "throw away kids". this is what psychiatrists and psychologists call kids that their parents wish they never had... or they did want them, only for the money they can get from the government to support them (or to buy drugs, and other crap).
...let's hope these kids are using birth control.

let's just hope they shoot each other and not us! In Joe Moore's world - I think everything is dandy. You would think he would be up in arms about this problem and going crazy. I seriously do not understand their complacency!
Why don't the useless idiot dog owners do positive loitering? They could toss their dog shit at the urban youffs who are causing the problems. It would be better than their current practice of befouling the entire neighborhood.
Hmmm...I guess since moving up here in May that I just don't notice all the bad stuff. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of bad things that happen (I live right by the Morse Hellhole and a half block from the Ashland/Pratt scary laundrymat). But I wouldn't mind seeing some of the good things about the RP posted up on here.
Hey Craig, what kind of scanner do you have, I am thinking of buying a new one so I can get to the scenes of crime and attempt to report on it rather than help the victims faster than I have been, so what kind you got?
